Calling Tom, Lyanda, Claire, and the amazing creatures! We can’t join you in the big house, we can’t pet the elephants, we’ve never seen a bushbaby, but we feel close to you. Your blog is lighting up our days. Good luck, Claire, to you and the fourth graders. Thanks for letting us be part of your fabulous adventure. (I enjoy the photos, over Joan’s shoulder.) Claire-I wish I had had students like you in my classroom. I just love your comparing the bushbabies with “giant raindrops.” That’s perfect. I’m glad I know now that they are animals-at first I thought bush babies were babies!!! I am enjoying seeing this trip through your eyes.

The BushBabies ARE Super-cute like you said. I think Helen K. is a Bush Baby(except for the the whole raindrop part):) I wonder if they eat cherries? from, Chloe the Awesome >:)

That sounds exciting !! It was very hot yesterday in Seattle . I know it sounds impossible, but it really happend! THere are a lot of things I want to say to you , but I can’t fit it all in 1 letter , so I’ll keep writing !
